As the electric car concept rapidly becomes a reality on Europe’s roads, and as vehicles themselves become ever more efficient and affordable, the other necessary component is the installation of a network of charging points. Comsar is at the forefront of this transport revolution.

We are already lending our expertise to designers and manufacturers, and are well-advanced with plans for recharging points in major cities in the Balkans region.

The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association has reported sharp increases in the registration of electric vehicles across Europe since 2010, and states "Most stakeholders assume a realistic market share for new electrically chargeable vehicles to be in the range of 2 to 8% by 2020 to 2025, based on today’s market. This depends on how quickly some of the immediate challenges can be addressed by industry and upon a number of external factors (e.g. infrastructure and support by utility providers and governments)." *

The car of tomorrow should be clean, quiet, and environmentally friendly, and will enable us to reach our destinations as easily as we do today. These are all factors that point to electricity. Electric vehicles powered by Comsar’s automotive electricity will meet drivers' needs, whilst saving resources and contributing to a virtually carbon-free environment.
